Roger Flanders is a 30-year Garden Grove Police Officer, lifelong West Garden Grove resident, and current Garden Grove Planning Commissioner running for Garden Grove City Council, District 1. Roger has called West Garden Grove home for nearly 60 years.

As a Garden Grove Police Officer, Roger spent three decades protecting his hometown, serving as the department's founding Homeless and Mental Health Liaison, Terrorism Liaison, and DARE Officer. As a Planning Commissioner, and previously a Traffic Commissioner and Neighborhood Improvement & Conservation Commissioner, he has helped guide the decisions that shape the neighborhoods he grew up in. He's running to keep Garden Grove focused on public safety, thriving local businesses, and strong neighborhoods.
